Annoyed

Post by Justin Credible » Mon Jul 23, 2012 12:24 pm

About 3 months ago I went to the doctor.I had a pain in my stomach for weeks at that stage. He thought it was indigestion, thick cunt gave me tablets that did not work.
Since i had given up drinking soft drinks, hardly ever drink booze and been of the fags i should have been feeling better. My stomach got bloated and went back again and he wrote me a prescription for more indigestion tablets and send he send me to a specialist.

Buddy I knew told me he had the same problems, and he had to give up potatoes, and white bread and he was fine.In the last 2 months I have only eaten spuds once a week and really cut down on bread.Since then things have been fine...bar the odd day

I eventually got my appointment for the specialist in the post this morning.

After years of experience with the NHS due to my parents' many ailments I learned to play the system Gaz. Turn up at A & E with extreme stomach pain and you'll see the relevant consultant within a few hours. It's far easier once you're in the system

possibly....
The mother in law has that and she has to avoid meat, spuds bread etc.........thats my staple diet anyway so I am struggling as it is.Its ok as I eat a lot of salads, and rice and thats fine during the summer but on the winter thats coming up I certainly will miss those on a daily basis.

wife suggested the same but I hate doctors and hospitals, not from fear but the waiting.
Over 2 months ago I went to A&E over my thumb and they said it seems to be fractured.Sent me for an X-ray and after 2 hours ~I could not wait anymore more and fucked off home.Said I would let it heal itself, still very tender.

Still 2 years for an appointment is a disgrace would not want it to be stomach cancer. If the pain or bloating comes back I will definately take that route via the A&E,

We got acclimatised to what we called "The NHS Time Zone", just sit back and let it happen as getting wound up makes no difference

the brother had something similar, but unlike me he eats nothing but junk food, smokes and drinks.
He ended up in hospital, and they found pollups on his gall blander and pancreas and has been waiting over a year to have his gall bladder removed.
My wife is almost 2 years waiting for an op on her knee.

The health system over here is fucked beyond belief....and worse its getting
Even the doctors are jammed up with the same people, so much so I believe they were even consulted on the color scheme for the place since they spend so much time there.
Up to a year ago I had not been in a doctors surgery for almost 20 years.
