Tricole vs Vanboring is the sort of tie that Darts Twitter and Thorn will wank over, but is mere filler for everyone else.

A big game in the tour card race, and also a big one for French darts, it would be good if Tricole could do well and get a bit of publicity for the game over there

Potentially Tricole could take advantage of Vandenbogaerde being tense, but Vandenbogaerde might be relaxed given that's he's 50, so the worst that happens is Modus + Seniors + 2 shots at Belgian ET HNQs.

Razma, Gilding, Dirk, Kim, Bunting, Schindler, Rydz, Rock and Clemens are the ones most under threat imo, De Decker and Pietreczko would probably be favourites for their games if they can get past round 1, Clemens-van Veen is a pick 'em, Joyce, Veenstra and Woodhouse are 3 of the form players from the ProTour list, Dirk has been injured and I wouldn't put any money on Schindler to get through in the bearpit atmosphere which is sure to accompany him if he plays Fallon (which I think he will as Capy has been average and will probably wilt too)

There is certainly more pressure on Mario, although he may also be OK regardless, Radek needs to win 2 games to overtake him and Hempel plays a player who has been better than him this year
