Thorn pretending to be Scottish/Hungarian is probably the oddest thing I’ve come across on this forum.

People just assumed he was Scottish when he joined so he went with it.

Then he tells us he's Hungarian and nobody believes him.

This is it. I explained it before. People have assumed me being Scottish for years before I ever said anything about it. So at that point I just rolled with it as a joke, as I wasn't really comfortable sharing as much of my personal life as I do today. Basically just as any teenager I was awkward about stuff. I realise it's a bit weird but I was just not sure how people would take it if I suddenly announced I am Hungarian. But I'm glad it's all straightened out now.

With English it's way more natural because everything is in English. You can't escape it.

I have learned some German and I want to improve on that as well as learning some French. But still a long way to go.

I have never been to Scotland. I created my reddit account after my TDF account and pretty much went along with the same persona. I now realise this was a mistake.

All the time I've ever spent in the UK was about 5 days in London with family.
