I'm no expert in Undertaker's career (I know it's fucking long though). From what I've seen I get the idea he perfected his gimmick through the years.

Like I wrote earlier though, when he starts talking I'm not particularly impressed. His (perfected) gimmick makes up for his lack of charisma imo.
I'm not sure if it holds up, but I enjoyed his heel character in late 2001 and early 2002, even if his matches with Hogan, Flair and Austin during that period were tripe.

I agree that he wasn't much of a promo guy otherwise.
Old as fuck Hogan and Flair, and a very brittled neck Austin

Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the biker gimmick
Only The Deadman gimmick

I'm not knowledgeable enough when it comes to those details. Will be a matter of time though, once you start watching it, YouTube keeps feeding me the same shit.

Oh aye, I found him dull as fuck between 2000 and late 2001.

But as a heel in late 01 and early 02 his character was enjoyable iirc.

Thing is, I always thought of pro wrestling like some sad thing for Thorn-like characters.

Once you approach it more like some scripted testosterone infused soap opera that's not to be taken too serious, it's entertaining.

On the other hand, when they show the audience in closeup, I tend to revert to my Thorn opinion.

Why am I discussed in the wrestling thread?

Not certain about that, so let's check.

Thorn mate, how did you get home after your pints & pool night?

Not a fair comparison as Thorn doesn't own a car.

I wouldn't put it past Thorn to steal one.

The last modern wrestling matches I watched were the Rollins vs HHH and Lesnar vs Goldberg matches at Wrestlemania in 2017. The former was dreadful, the latter was a very fun spectacle. Before those matches the last current match I watched was in early 2014.

I broke my streak last night after this match from last month was recommend to me by someone who I get match tips from for the 2000s. It's excellent! Jimmi should have tipped me off about it ;)

Cunt has only himself to blame. Dave warned him more than once.
