A narrow loss to a dominant MVG in his breakthrough year was what stood in the way of a third.

The booing from Price last night I will admit, was a bit excessive to begin with, then died down.

Not sure if it was picked up on TV but Smith was telling the crowd not to boo him.

But you’d think he’d be used to it now and it’s clearly a crutch he loves to use it he gets beat.

Threw away a few sets if I remember correctly, frustrating final.

Really? Price dominated Wright in two Grand Slam finals, and the famous final with Anderson that will be legendary for all time.
I remember him winning it twice but not three times.

And I thought he beat MVG in one of them and not Wright twice?

Did MVG beat Price in the final one year?
