I assume busy with his girlfriend again.

Hopefully he returns soon.
Probably going to get canned again this week
Greetings boss.
Hello, mate.
How are things?

I watched Doley’s match last night before heading out to play darts.
Glad that he won, I’ve been going off Dirk for a while now.
Beyond one family member driving us all nuts, things are good.

Hail Brenda.

There’s always one. :D

Dirk’s head just goes if he starts playing shit and it’s amusing that he lost after giving it the big un when Doley scored 45 to let him back into the leg.

Thanks Oche.

I saw a tweet of yours pop up yesterday about the first ever Grand Prix event.

Why did they play the best of that many sets?
Must have gone on for hours.

And Taylor still averaged 96 in a best of 25 sets game.
Insane.

It was best of 3 legs sets just for that year.
Started using best of 5 in 1999.

Ah, okay.
I think I read Oche’s tweet wrong.
Thought it was still 3 legs to a set.

But still, even 2 legs to a set is a lot in a best of 25.
Imagine Justin Pipe and Suljovic playing against each other over that format.

I wonder what the longest darts match ever is?
Amateur and professional.

Because they can’t hit a double or because it’s like a 24 hour stream thing?

The latter. The record is 60 hours, although it would probably not be considered a single darts match.

= A minimum requirement of 26 legs to win the match. Can't think of a longer one than that.
