Opticians & Doctors

Post by Justin Credible » Thu Apr 26, 2012 12:56 am

My brother went to the local specsavers to get his eyes tested and lo and behold they told him he needed glasses.

I told him thaty even if his eyes were perfect those robbing cunts have an agenda to sell glasses to people whether they need them or not.

My wife says they are medical professionals and like doctors dont lie, again I told her I dont trust doctors either as it pays doctors not to completely cure people so that they keep coming back.
Would not surprise me if medical science can cure most diseases but the pharmacutical companies are keeping a lid on things in order to fleece people of more money.

Needless to say my wife thinks I am paranoid.

Do you trust doctors and opticians ?

My grandad had cataracts in both eyes and had two operations over the last few months to sort them.

Thankfully both operations were a success and the doctors said he now has great vision in both and said he only needs reading glasses. The doctor also said the opticians will try to say you need glasses for general use but to basically fuck them off.

So even the doctors think they are robbing bastards.

Have used opticians most of my life, so for me its glasses, a dog or a stick.

On another note, when I was younger the optician used to look in your eyes and move about in a circular direction, this never failed to have me in stitches. Good old days.

The last time I went I had to do a spot test and call out how many lights I could see?? WTF??

i used the same optician for the best part of ten years, largely seeing the same two people.

one day in the chair, the guy announced, oh you have different coloured eyes!

im like, what the fuck youve only just fucking noticed!

i wore glasses all through growing up , even remember in primary school having a patch over my left eye to force my right eye to work properly.

luckily ive not worn them in over 10 years as i no longer need them , and if it hadnt been for that patch i used to wear my right eye would of been a lazy eye and i would look like even more like a retard ... so to me opticians are my heros for saving me that embarassment

*disclaimer.... no offense to anyone with one eye looking at you the other looking for you *

Just been through a few weeks of dental treatment - originally he quoted me for a root canal which was finished this week.

He also did the old scale and polish and patched me up with a temporary filling to go on holiday plus on my final visit I had to have a wisdom tooth out too. About 5 visits in total.

He kept the price the same as his original quote so I was well pleased with him.
