I don't think the people running this tournament will be too pleased with the big names performances. Crying out for Gando or Barney to turn up

But I already visualise Barney playing in it and not practicing properly and getting dicked by Richie Howson

Only real newbies coming in Jan are Burnett and D Webster.

I'm not classing James Wilson, Kevin Burness and Nick Fullwell as credible known players.

I can take it or leave it, I watched the semi's and final and a couple of matches yesterday and that was all, It fills a gap I suppose and there is obviously a market for it so I can only see it expanding.

It's a seniors tour not a legends tour. I don't think its the intention of "Nostalgia" aside from some former World Champions playing at the Circus Tavern

Wilson would be good, he's somewhat recognisable and standard wise would be up there

I could be totally wrong but I'm pretty sure people in that crowd tonight will have been disappointed with the 4 names in the Semi Finals. All 4 of them are effectively Challenge Tour / WDF players who are still playing competitive darts week in week out.

There is nothing wrong with that and it's not the players fault but from a viewing perspective it's boring.

You would be totally wrong. People expected this to be a legends tour. It was never the intention. Of course the legends Lowe, Deller, Anderson were involved early doors. (I expect Deller to be at the worlds) but it was for 50s to do something and have some TV time. The people who brought the tickets would have expected this. I actually think there should be a legends games in between the semis and final (Best of 3 between Lowe and Anderson) for example.

Did you survey all of those that bought tickets to ask what they expected?

Oh please not. We have seen they are not capable anymore.
Keep it like this keep bringing in new decent players who are capable of providing an entertaining match.
Leave the legends to the quick interview or commentary.

But you could have a legends only comp, Winners trophy shaped like a walking stick and the runners up trophy a wheelchair

He looks in absolute agony now every time I see him commentating, I don't think he can stand up straight on his own nowadays as he appeared to be leaning against the railings.

Fair comment. But i don't know what anyone was expecting when this came about. Although we all thought Phil Taylor was going to dominate
