How good could Dave Pallett have been ?
Yes he hasn’t really hit the heights at the top of the darting table and he will best be remembered for his SF at the U.K. open and that good finish against Lewis in the worlds with his somewhat smug celebration, but was there more in his locker, could he have achieved more?
I’m surprised he isn’t on ‘Team Malt’ tbh.

Re: How good could Dave Pallett have been ?
During the tournament it was pretty clear that the contestants were always in some danger. I'm sure if they found Harry's dead body, the accident would have been investigated, but without no one to tell the tale, they might not have come to the right conclusions.
And we do see in the 5th book how ignorant the Ministry was about everything. They refused to believe Harry and Dumbledore even after things like the Azkaban breakout. If Harry died, pretty much no one would have believed Voldemort was back

Quirrell was never a death eater. He only went in search for Voldemort about a year before Harry went to HogwartsHalloweenJack wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 6:48 pm+1 or something.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 6:05 pm During the tournament it was pretty clear that the contestants were always in some danger. I once dreamt that Prof Quirrell lost a 10 round split decision to Joe Bugner.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 6:52 pmQuirrell was never a death eater.
