John Part got close to predicting it yesterday, saying that Nathan would have the energy factor on his side.

Well done Asp impressive performance there. Jonny didn't get going. Great to see 2 nice guys up there enjoying it and being nice to each other

So so so happy. That middle part of the game was absolutely insane, yes it caused Jonny to drop off but that was a spell of legs where nobody in world darts currently would’ve been able to keep that session close. It’s been a long time since Aspinalls UK open win and with his throw issues and injury for him to win a tournament like this is incredible.

Jonny a class act as always, I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome

Aspinall is a gutsy, class act. A great performance from him and he's a worthy winner of this. Clayton played well all week but ran out of steam a little. Still it was a good tournament, Surprises in the opening two rounds the rest were meh

Totally agree, made my month this win, to see the crowd and his family enjoying it with him, what fabulous scenes, one of the best matchplays I've ever seen. Clayton is a great guy and a great player, I hope he wins it one day
