My guess is Tony Blair has ordered him to do it. When Blair gives orders, those folk across the Irish Sea jump to attention.

Shaking hands with a terrorist leader is a big step for Martin Mcguinness.
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'

Indeed, it takes a big man to know his place.
God save Tony Blair - tamer of the Irish.

In all fairness this was on the cards since the Queen paid her respects to the men and women of this island who helped throw off the shackles of british imperialism.

She was in awe of this most historical place where the armed forces of her ancestor committed another massacre in the name of Britian

Fair dues to Martin Mcguinness for taking the northern peace process to a new level by shaking hands with the head of one of the worlds largest terrorist orginisations.
