What do you like better from betting perspective?

Post by Greipel » Thu Jul 13, 2023 5:26 pm

If a player has 3 darts for D1 or the same amount of darts for a 2 darter combo on 60 or lower?

D1 I think. Pro players always seem extra good at clutching double 1. You’ve also got to consider the very slim chance of someone missing the big number on a checkout like 56 or 47 and only getting 1 dart

D1 is just playing with fire - even experienced players get mentally caught up in it.

Poll added. I prefer the second because lots of players usually bust D1 with the first dart, so I disagree in that with you Malt. I don't give a fuck when I just watch darts casually for just enjoyment without betting though.

2 dart combo for amateur player. Any pro for me should be hitting D1 3 darts in hand.

Definitely the second option, 3 darts at D1 is risky

I suspect the actual numbers would be fairly close. On D1 there is the chance to miss inside but you also have to consider players would typically aim their first dart at the top wire, so that again reduces your chances of hitting the target

I personally would always prefer 3 at a double. But at a pro level they probably don't care which scenario they are left with

Personally I prefer the single to double option with 3 darts.
