God works in the same way as the BDO does.

When something works out its because God/BDO made it happen.
however when things dont go right they are exempt from all blame.

Both God & BDO offer little in return for your loyalty and faith in them.
Both have a scruffy guy with a beard as their poster child, in each case that bearded one is an opinionated one at that as well.

There are those that treat God like that but certainly not how I see Him
