There have been no announcements on how they would allocate the spot if need be, but it would be so simple for them to just invite the 2nd Canadian (or perhaps the second American if they're higher on the overall OoM, I don't really care!) on the CDC if Smith or Campbell win this. Seems like neither of them are eligible for the Grand Slam, perhaps in the case of one of them winning this, they could invite the CDC overall winner
