Countries with one good player and one decent player are probably better than teams with one really good player and one randomer though tbf

It won't be until next weekend at the earliest, as that's when the final Nordic/Baltic weekend before the World Cup is (the Finnish, Swedish and Latvian teams have already been set as they have 2 players on the main OoM, but the second Danish and Lithuanian players will be determined by the NB ProTour)

I imagine that in these doubles matches, when one player is much better than the other, it’s essentially like playing with a handicap, no?

Not really. In a game of pairs it can even itself out. There will be a few one sided games but I expect some tighter games and a couple of surprises

De Sousa’s partner last year for Portugal was so poor, pretty much a pub player. You can’t really get too far with a partner who’s averaging in the 60s

TT loved Vitor Jeronimo I remember him wanting Jose to beat Wright to see him again. Which did then happenTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 11:08 amDe Sousa’s partner last year for Portugal was so poor, pretty much a pub player. They haven't stolen money from me in disgusting fashion so I didn’t have to do that.tungsten tossers wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 3:02 pmDid you wish death on him at the timeGreipel wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 12:05 pmCunt played well against Hungary.tungsten tossers wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 11:45 amVitor is a great lad.... Re: 2023 PDC World Cup of Darts
Jiwa and Kumar a duo who can both average mid to high 80s can definitely be competitive in this tournament. In this field I wouldn’t describe Kumar as shite

Re: 2023 PDC World Cup of Darts
Kumar has just won 2 Asian Tour events too (in a watered down field, but he still beat some good players), so I'm disappointed he won't be there, but I'm sure there's a good reason for itTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 6:11 pmJiwa and Kumar a duo who can both average mid to high 80s can definitely be competitive in this tournament.
