You know you're working too hard
When you had to switch the office alarm off when you got in this morning, and on again tonight.
Ah well.
Ah well.

Cannot be easy working long hours when you got a family and young kids at home. Its not like you want a break cos you are a lazy fucker but sometimes no job is worth missing out on home life .

To be fair it's much better than my last job - only the second time I've missed the kids' bedtime in a couple of months, so it's no hardship really.
Pays the bills anyway. If I was a bit cleverer I might be able to work out how to stay at home all day on my backside and let some other poor sod pay for it, but I don't think I'll ever be quite that clever.

Nope, and I get an extra day with the new job, so that's OK - 26 days plus 8 Bank Holidays - works out at about 7 working weeks, so I'm happy enough with that.
