- find the subject on Wikipedia
- scroll to ‘further reading’, and search those books on Amazon
- buy the books (or download them, it’s cheaper), based on the reviews.

Went for a very general historical overview in "China: A History" and a more revolution focused one in "The Penguin History of Modern China: The Fall and Rise of a Great Power, 1850 - 2009". Just went to the top on kindle and looked at the reviews to make sure it was what I was looking for.Ross, Bob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 8:48 pmFound anything?Emulsfier wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 8:29 amWill give it a go. Both good, though the first obviously suffers from trying to cram far too much in one book.
