These were 69p in ff and look horrifying but we may have willing guinea pigs on tdf? Getting drumstick chocolate vibes.

This is great news - some of their frozen stuff really punches above its weight. The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 4:59 pm Exciting news here Rogg as the local Farmfoods I had never been in has closed down and moved half a mile nearer me to a retail park with an actual car park. I buy the 3 for £12 fried chicken breasts and use them to make a really easy Katsu curry, They microwave really well once cooked too so good for lunch meals.
2 Chicken breasts - £4 divided by 3 = £1.30 ish
Microwave rice, supermarket own brand is about 79p
ingredients for a katsu curry sauce - maybe 30 pence in total
HOWEVER You can get a premade mayflower brand curry sauce for... I want to say 40p that microwaves well.
So if you cant be arsed cooking your own sauce, that's a filling meal for £2.49 - much better than those wanky meal deals
Their crispy chinese bla bla strips are crap. Too thing and go a bit dry, and their frozen rice for the takeaways tastes like soap. The other "fakeaway" meals are quite nice though.

These haven't washed up in mine yet. Shame, but they're still struggling to shift the foxes biscuits they have in, so maybe when they're gone

Speaking of which, there have been big blue boxes of McVities choc biscuits for 99p. They have now been replaced by a new batch for the more regular price of 2.99.

Sun-Pat smooth peanut butter in ff.
400g for 49p. BBE June. About £3 usually.
I do like a peanut butter. I add my own nuts if I have smooth.

They also have Dairy Milk orange eggs in bags in ff. There was no price yet but presumably they are Easter related so could be v.cheap. I will do my duty.
