He's 24th on the Challenge Tour rankings and 4th in terms of averages. Considering the depth on that tour I would say he is still very much in the upper tier of Seniors players. High 80s average wins you more matches than loses

Mitchell's recent form in the seniors events has been dreadful though.

If he carries on playing like that he'll be dropping further down the CT OOM.
