Its things like that that will dictate if they show the event or not again.
and if the darts wasn't in the top 50 on the Saturday then it likely got less than 300k.

On the following Saturday afternoon (April 1st), nothing charted in the corresponding slot until 3pm:

3-4pm............... FILM: Labyrinth (1986, final hour).................. 343k
4:05-5:05pm....... FILM: The Gremlins (1984, first hour)............... 361k

Dave had a similar issue. Aye the figures were on a par with what they normally showed, but repeats of Taskmaster or whatever dont require stumping up for a load of cameramen and presenters.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

In other words, extraordinary expense requires extraordinary reward. Getting consistently chinned in the ratings by old films doesn't sound like that reward but who knows.

Dont get me wrong, thought the event was fine. Maybe the Saturday needs changing to two groups of four with 6 matches played overall, but other than that: fine.

350,000 watching darts on a Sunday Afternoon is good figures, I know you and rogg have an agenda but its good

People love old flims. Look at ITV 3 ratings for Classic Emmerdale & Corrie as well. Darts has to be realistic as a 2nd tier sport. Premier League isn't getting 100k on a Thursday Night

I mean, anybody at all watching old lads playing a pub game is a miracle but that's hardly the point. TV channels have expectations and we don't know what those are. We can try to interpret a few numbers but that's about it. I make no conclusion as I have no idea.

They may do, they may not. Not a single person on here knows if they think the figures were "good".

Deller is in a 10 year time warp

Stage events are worth more than floor events, fancy that.

Also, why do people say 'Pro Tour' when they mean 'Players Championships'? They are not the same thing. The Pro Tour is PC+ET.

Mitchell couldn't handle the pressure of the Euro Tour qualifiers.

Neither could he handle the pressure of the Ally Pally Stage.

Or the Circus Tavern stage

Or the cinema in South Wales

Or..................well the list could go on, couldn't it?
