Re: The not Rogg's Twatter Watch
I personally think all 3 this weekend have been appalling.
Nicholson with his utter shite that has nothing to do with the match he is on.
Murphy with his obsession of saying nobody should say anything to offend a player then does the exact same thing himself.
Dawson is getting more annoying by the weeks aswell his weird obsessions with Aspinall, Gilding and Schindler and has started over expressing the last word of every sentence to sound dramatic. I still only cut him a bit of slack as he does genuinely know a lot of stats.

I appreciate that Dawson is passionate about the game, but he and Murphy have never been my cup of tea.

Always been obsessed with Gilding but absolutely 100% spot on with Schindler, he's right up his holeSafc wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 11:32 pmI personally think all 3 this weekend have been appalling.

I'd add Joe Cullen to the list too, he was very pleased he beat Smudger and also has a fetish for Daryl Gurney and his "flat" darts

I didn't mind Dawson and Murphy but the last year Murphy can fuck off with his woke agenda.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 11:43 pm I appreciate that Dawson is passionate about the game, but he and Murphy have never been my cup of tea.

And like I say Dawson since February is really annoying me don't think it helps he is on every channel now Sky, ITV and PDC. The other weekend when it was Lloydy and Dan McCarthy it was decent both just commentating on the game and even Webby last week.
But this weekend the 3 stooges have been unbearable.

Plastic mentioned that Mason is doing ET6 in Leeuwarden
Strongly suspect Jacques Nieuwlaat will be there too in some capacity, it'll be a good weekend of commentary as those two will keep Dawson in line

Did we get the viewing figures in the end? I missed them and they've gone now.Rogg wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 4:11 pmOne thing to add. In terms of total viewing audience across the week, the highest rated Channel 5 show for 6-12 March was:Rogg wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 3:55 pm3 minutes, rofl. Aye. Care to guess what that "limited time' is in the BARB definition?
Also would need to consider what they normally get in that slot for it they consider it a success or not, I have no idea of that.
We'll have the BARB data in a couple of weeks which will help to provide some actual context but even then we will have almost no clue about what it all means, hooray.
'Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly'. 8-9pm on the Tuesday night: 1.7m.
Then down the list: 1.6, 1.5m, 1.4m, etc.
Day of the week, time of the day, length of the show, cost of the show... ratings are an endless muddle. Beware those who celebrate them.

Hard to make such a judgement tbh unless you know what their usual programming achieves.

That afternoon slot on Channel 5, the week after the darts. Sunday 2nd April. The second film here was chopped in half by some news/entertainment bulletin. The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 2:34 pm Hard to make such a judgement tbh unless you know what their usual programming achieves.

Re: The not Rogg's Twatter Watch
So 20+ year old films, which dont require an expensive outside broadcast, got better figures than the darts by at least 33%.
Its things like that that will dictate if they show the event or not again.
