I would keep Bob. At his age it's still fairly impressive. He averages in the 70s.

"The Grand Slam is a PDC tournament with PDC rules and it would be really hypocritical of me to go and play in a PDC tournament when everyone knows my views about them."

On his 2015 debut subsequently, Adams said that it was down to the BDO wanting him to play more than anything. "I actually phoned the BDO and said I have this invitation, do you want me to play. I said and if the BDO doesn't want me to play, I won't and the response I had back was yes we want you to play."

So he played with the BDO's wishes

He had to bin his principles first before making the phone call. He became a hypocrite by his own admission.

The icing on the cake being that he then pinned the whole affair on the BDO: 'Well, they wanted me to'.

A horrid affair.

Not sure about 'tremendously', lol. It was certainly memorable and he was a big part of that edition for, erm, various reasons and that was fun.

Won all his group games which was a very impressive PDC return then went down to Kim in a high quality tungsten tussle. And he had a lot of fun along the way.

He did do well. The Kim game was a belter. I think Spiney was on a finish for the match when Kim pipped him 10-9.
He wheezed and cackled like a tit all the way through it but you can't have everything. A cracking game.
