Had a feeling Gilding would play MVG with no fear and at 10 10 I fancied it to happen for him great stuff deserved winner he may look undesirable but i've always rated him as a dart player!

Crazy tournament anyway. I had a lot of fun following it. The Open and the PC Finals are especially well-suited to forumland with so much happening at once. Two of my favourite events now for sure.

They should make Players Championship Finals 128 players with all the card holders there.

And bring back the UK Open qualifiers so card holders aren't guaranteed a place there.
