Inspired by the neverending red button @ UK Open debacle. What are other darts myths?

'Truths' that come up and again and again that simply aren't true, or should at least be discussed rather than casually accepted.

I suspect the Lakeside burger and chips thing may have actually been a myth.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

No idea, but no evidence was ever produced.

Even if it was true, it could have been the size of the portion of chips you got on a burger meal was bigger than buying the items seperately.
