A Dobey Cross final would be great.

And there you go , re SmithJeffLamp wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 7:52 pmThanks , yes agree. One thing struck me in his rise to the top in 2017 was that he had it ' mentally ' he didn't bottle it under pressure .The Thorn wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 7:40 pmWelcome to the forum JeffJeffLamp wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 7:25 pm Hi new on here , first post.
Have often read the posts on here during major competitions.
I've felt that Rob Cross has been heading back towards the player he was in 2017, maybe I'm wrong but he looks better.
Mike Smith certainly gone up a few notches since becoming a major winner and world champ.
A bit of resolve and maturity to compliment his natural talent.
Cross has been threatening to get back to that level but never quite delivered on it. I don't think his throw is one of the best. But no doubt he is playing very well right now, I wouldn't be surprised if he won this event tonight. He is the most underrated top player in the PDC
Although he's had his ups and downs since then I don't think he's ever lost his winners mentality when on form.
Smith undoubtedly favourite tonight but as good as he is I can't see him ever having that stoic unbeatable aura of a Taylor or MVG that they had at their very best , despite his talent.
He just doesn't seem that ' tough ' as a character ?
He may prove me wrong.
See above
He'll always be mentally fragile ?

Re: 2023 Masters
I want Cross to win this, but I suspect Wright will prevail.

But all good humoured.Randall wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 7:37 pmWelcome to the forumJeffLamp wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 7:25 pm Hi new on here , first post.

Don't worry about the fuck off and die posts
All part of the rich tapestry
I think everyone would be happy to see 2017 Cross back
Thanks
