Does anyone think Wade will win one?
Not fond of him but it’ll cement his place as one of the greatest if he did.
Was it Mardell or Part who said that this is the age of the scorers, where you can't just rely on finishing to win you games if you can't give yourself the chances, especially in the Worlds format where it's unlikely all of the top players will fall. I think his semi-final last year typifies that, he was competitive in large parts, but Bully Boy just had that extra gear and won pretty comfortably in the end
So Wade has no chance if it’s “the age of the scorers”

"I hate conservatives, but I really fucking hate liberals."
Still love you, Sexy Steve <3

its taken Smith over 10 years to win 1, MVG only on 3 and it would not surprise me if Rock never wins one. ITS FUCKIN HARD
Very much this. So many bits need to come together at once. To the point where every world title win seems a little absurd in its own way.

Granted, Wade was more of a 'pincher' of legs even at his best, but if you'd have told me in 2012 that he'd never win a world title (sorry James, it's looking more unlikely than ever) I'd have thought you were a bit mad

I don't think that Dark will win a world title...
He has more mental frailties than pre 2022 Smith and Chizzy combined...
Asp, possibly has it in him

Gates?

Mad indeed. Although I was naturally in tatters @ the Wade-Lewis SF debacle, I took comfort in the certainty that it was only delaying the inevitable and that Wadey would definitely be back.

Gutting Pipe has quit darts as he was still a good player, just struggled for a little bit cos of injury but he’d have bounced back comfortably

Ironically he did have a purple patch in 2019 when he made the Worlds and then the Matchplay the summer after, but went back to jobbing soon after and lost his tour card at the start of last year
