Fair enough but to call it a Max Hopp qualifier is stupid when tbh, no one would have given him much of a chance considering this year's formTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 6:04 pm The non tour card holders in this have some decent players like Plaisier , Van Veen, Kist, Baetans etc but none of them are better players than Joyce, White, Murnan, Lennon etc.
In a whole year on the tour i would expect all of them names i mentioned to have a yearly average of between 86-90, with the exception of Van Veen as I expect him to continue improving.
I don't think it's an outrageous opinion

Hopp was the pdc's fallon few years ago, used to shoehorn him int events.

Any examples of events Hopp was shoehorned into?

It was a joke as Hopp always seems to find a way to be at the worlds even when he's been shittungsten tossers wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 6:10 pmFair enough but to call it a Max Hopp qualifier is stupid when tbh, no one would have given him much of a chance considering this year's formTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 6:04 pm The non tour card holders in this have some decent players like Plaisier , Van Veen, Kist, Baetans etc but none of them are better players than Joyce, White, Murnan, Lennon etc.

I was about to ask that! Maybe a World Series wildcard or something.

Re: 2023 Greatest Show on Earth
Agreed, but as with Fallon, it was the PDC and not Hopp's fault...
Sure he benefited from the Euros and he was massively over-hyped by SKY and the PDC but none of it was his fault

Re: 2023 Greatest Show on Earth
The Euro Tour inflated his ranking in a way too, but i don't really mind Hopp .
I didn't see Jimmy Hendriks winning this qualifier though

A wildcard into a non-ranking exhibition event to a player from an important overseas territory. Not quite the scandal I was expecting.

Re: 2023 Greatest Show on Earth
They gave out 8 wildcards to that shite at some point. Hardly exclusive to Hopp. Keegan Brown, Devon Petersen, Josh Payne, Cristo Reyes just a few name who got invited for whatever reason.

Well done Hendriks, he's made it with no fucking about
Very impressive there in spells, also excellent to see Hopp fucked off. Germans never been allowed in this event, why start now.
Will be dangerous for 7/8 of the ProTour 32 in the first round
