It's always sad when a darts player has no legs

Mace raises a lot of good and valid points in this, He is spot on about the WDF and also I think there will be a lot of players thinking similar to what he has said with regards to tour cards and other options.

Re: Random Dart Stuff
Sad news about the retired dutch jobber losing a leg, 4 years ago my dad had a very bad blister on his toe but the local doctor didn't think it was too bad and didn't think the hospital was necessary.
A week later it didn't get any better so he went to the hospital and he lost all his toes except the big toe because he had diabetes without knowing which caused the infection , at first they told him the whole foot was going so it could have been worse.
Hope wadey is right, he needs a good run soon but i think it probably will have to wait until next year.

Re: Random Dart Stuff
I think I did say not long after the first Challenge Tour events in 2020 that I had been talking with Toon about his struggles after losing his foot and that he was on the up having just bought or moved into a new home and was involved with a company that he gave speeches at events to try and inspire others after his return to playing darts, Such a shame he has now ended up losing his other foot/lower leg as he seemed so positive about a return to playing more events and seemed really positive about how he was playing and what his future would hold, Just hope he can pick himself up from this as he genuinely is a really nice bloke who deserves better than the hand he has been delt.shenmue wrote: ↑Wed Oct 26, 2022 10:22 pm Sad news about the retired dutch jobber losing a leg, 4 years ago my dad had a very bad blister on his toe but the local doctor didn't think it was too bad and didn't think the hospital was necessary. Clayton is considered out of form and yet when you look at this he’s doing well still, just his timing is off

Fun idea maybe worth it's own thread. We could do sporcle quizzes and do a leaderboard for fun or some shit.
Here's one for the 128 tour card holders. I'll screenshot my result just in case it takes off.
