Re: 2022 World Seniors Tour
15 maybe. The early Matchplays were best of 15 so that can be authentic. When Evison humped Pheel it was 8-1 I think.

At least by having players like Duff are in, the standard should be better.Greipel wrote:Get in Duffy!

I was actually being serious. Watching the likes of Lowe, Anderson and Deller getting battered all the time will lose its appeal. Yes it was great for nostalgic purposes, but if they want the event to have some competitive players then Duff is an obvious choice.Dfc180 wrote:I read that in a sarcastic toneHalloweenJack wrote:At least by having players like Duff are in, the standard should be better.Greipel wrote:Get in Duffy!

Mind you I only watched bits of the worlds, I didn’t watch the other 2 events.

The world's was a novelty event tbh.... it was great to see the old "legends" but that was about it...
Their standard is horrible to watch but the "younger" of the legends such as KP and Thorn played to a pretty decent standard and were good to watch... I wouldn't bother watching Lowe, Anderson etc anymore as the appeal has gone.... The event needs new blood to keep the interest there, however I think that they may have overcooked it a tad
