Todays tips, hopefully much better than my last effort:

Snooker - David Morris v Mark Joyce - Morris beat the "next big thing" 10-2 in the second round of qualifying so is in good nick from the looks of it, and is not the favourite for this match as Mark Joyce is the higher seed. 11/10 are the odds for Morris to win, not spectacular but worth a point.

Football - Blackburn v Liverpool - Surely, surely Liverpool have to win at some point? Blackburn but up a dogged display against the champions elect at home last week. Hard to call this so I am staying away from the match result and instead looking at the card market. Anthony Taylor is the ref and of all the refs he has dished out the fifth lowest in terms of cards. Under 30 points is 6/4 so I will be having a point on this.

Football - Rochdale v Sheff Utd - Rochdale bottom of the pile, Sheff Utd flying high and more than likely to go back second with a win here, I can only foresee a Sheff Utd win by some margin. Sheff Utd are 23/10 on the -1 handicap to win, which is slightly insane as I see nothing to suggest they wont score two goals more than Rochdale. I'm going to go crazy and have TWO points on this.
Win, nowhere near, win.

Therefore:

Todays outlay: £20
Todays returns: £43.50

Running total:

Outlay: £277.50
Returns: £400.26

Profit - 44% (up 5%)

An excellent day.

After yesterdays success, lets see if it can be repeated:

Snooker - Steve Davis v Ben Woolaston = the bookies cant really split them, with Davis at 4/5 and Woolaston at 10/11, which makes Steve the marginal favourite. Steve still has the game to win matches of this length, I cant see him winning two this week but this one is winnable, Woolaston had a bit of a capitulation at the China Open when the chips were down. Steve to win at 4/5, one point.

Football - Wigan v Man Utd - I see nothing other here than goals, goals, goals. Man U dont play until Sunday and no doubt will field a near full strength squad for this match. No value in the match result bet (Man U are 1/9 to win!). Over 3/5 goals is 7/4 so will be having one point on that

Wolves v Arsenal - Wolves are shit. Arsenal are 8/5 to win to nil. One point. Bit of an odd bet but cant see it being a goalfest which rules out the handicap bet and the "over X goals" market. Neither can I see Wolves scoring either.

if i was a betting man still.... man utd -1 goal is 23/20 and is just printing money in my opinion. Also you can get 2/1 on over 3.5goals at william hill so beter than your 7/4 not sure if youve already bet though.

but id rather double up on my stake on man utd -1 than betting on the over 3.5goals...

but we shall see later :) good luck !

Yeah, odds can be better elsewhere but my work computer doesnt like the Oddschecker website and I have a Paddypower app on my phone, so I just use that :D

I did consider the handicap bet however Paddys only had it priced up at 11/10, nowhere near the 23/10 you have found.

still a good price for -1 though , and for -2 its 3/1 so if your going for over 3.5 goals at 7/4 then would you not be better of going for the -2 , only score line i see that really screws you is 3-1 utd , all others for over 3.5 realistically should be a win for utd -2

I'll peruse bet365 later for value.

QPR vs Swansea will be one I'll take particular interest in.

Which market? Fancy Swansea to get back to winning ways and nick that one.

QPR were very, very good defensively on Sunday, & Swansea are struggling to score. I'll have a look at the goals market.

I haven't seen who the ref is yet for cards either, cos sparky loves his teams to tackle.

And I quote:

Lee Probert from Wiltshire will take charge of Queens Park Rangers host Swansea City tomorrow evening.

The official joined the National List of referees in 2003 before his eventual promotion to the Select List in 2007.

So far this season Mr Probert has refereed 32 games with 100 yellow cards and eight reds being dished out - that gives him an average of 3.38 cards per game

http://www.qpr.vitalfootball.co.uk/arti ... z1riwDxL9Z

However a bit of a misnomer as only 17 of those were PL games - and in those games it is only 2.18 yellows per game. So must have reffed some dirty Championship and League 1 games along the way!
