Todays offerings from the alter of tips:

Darts - Whitlock v Anderson - Wade may have raped Whitlock last week however cant see Whitlock repeating the trick (if you can call it a trick) this week. Whitlock is 13/10 with Paddypower to win the match, worth a point of anyones money.

Football - Bilbao v Schalke - Bilbao are 4-2 up on aggregate and the tie is all but over unless Schalke can conjure up three goals. Cant see that happening and Bilbao are going to run away with it. They are 9/5 to win on the handicap (-1.0), again just one point.

Golf - Paddypower are paying out to Top 6 e/w at 1/4 odds. KJ Choi at 66/1 is my choice to win outright e/w for one point. As for the alternative markets, YE Yang is 3/1 to finish in the top 20 overall, given the top 20 can include ties this actually could translate as the top 25 or so. So have a point here too.

What a load of shite. The darts bet came off but that was the worst odds of the four. The football bet was a draw, Yang was tied for 57th, and Choi missed the bloody cut!

Todays tips, hopefully much better than my last effort:

Snooker - David Morris v Mark Joyce - Morris beat the "next big thing" 10-2 in the second round of qualifying so is in good nick from the looks of it, and is not the favourite for this match as Mark Joyce is the higher seed. 11/10 are the odds for Morris to win, not spectacular but worth a point.

Football - Blackburn v Liverpool - Surely, surely Liverpool have to win at some point? Blackburn put up a dogged display against the champions elect at home last week. Hard to call this so I am staying away from the match result and instead looking at the card market. Anthony Taylor is the ref and of all the refs he has dished out the fifth lowest in terms of cards. Under 30 points is 6/4 so I will be having a point on this.

Football - Rochdale v Sheff Utd - Rochdale bottom of the pile, Sheff Utd flying high and more than likely to go back second with a win here, I can only foresee a Sheff Utd win by some margin. Sheff Utd are 23/10 on the -1 handicap to win, which is slightly insane as I see nothing to suggest they wont score two goals more than Rochdale. I'm going to go crazy and have TWO points on this.

I like the Sheff United bet. What's helping both Pig clubs is that their neighbours are doing so well too. After Wednesday's win yesterday, I too can only see United going hell for leather tonight.

23/10 is a bit cheap for me for any away team on an Asian Handicap but I too will chuck a quid at it.

The last bet struck me as buying money really, would have expected at least -2 for those kind of odds. Sheff Utd are in good nick and Rochdale aint, regardless of the match being at Spotland.
