Under 2.5 goals is a probability but I think the intelligent decision would be 'no bet'.

The only bets that look half decent are the card index bets, Blackburn are the second dirtiest side in the PL and have often had at least three players booked this season, admittedly this hasnt happened in the last five matches but none were against the champions.

Was rather surprised to see that the Gold Cup winner Synchronised is still in the National. Even more surprised to see it available at 9/1 on Saturday morning (Can still get 8/1). I know people will always bang on about the National being a lottery / anything can win it etc etc but essentially it is just a staying handicap where the weights are announced ages in advance. I may be horribly wrong here but I'd imagine that this race was Synchronised's main target this season as I don't believe they expected him to be good enough to win the GC, the fact that he did surely means he's thrown in at the weights here and should be a short priced favourite. The last time I can remember a similar scenario to this was when Rough Quest was placed in the GC and went off 7/1 ish favourite for the National and duly won it (beat Encore en Peu by a few lengths which I'd backed AP @ 66/1 and everything else by a distance).

My usually interest in the national involves having a tenner on five horses but this year I've already had £30 on Synchronised @ 9/1 and I'm giving serious consideration to lumping on @ 8/1 and leaving everything else be.
