"World Championship" is a massive overestimation of what they're doing.

That was the most ridiculous thing about the last BDO one at the o2

I mean, look at the fucking state of that, no mention of the word "darts" but hey, plenty of room to get the word "professional" in there? Fucking cretins.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

All they had to say was amateur world championship and the abuse is muted

Cringe meter will be in full swing when the phrase “The home of world darts” is uttered numerous times in every session.

Which was the condition for the PDC to accept it as a World Championship. WDF did and the PDC have no objection

So this will start during the PDC Worlds and end during Q-School. That turned out well.

It'll get clattered at both ends. The middle bit probably won't be much to shout about either.

He won the 2020 Scottish Open, which was a Gold tournament and gave him entry to Lakeside if he wanted it.

It wasn't an easy decision to make, he says.

In a further howler, Chris Landman has qualified for Ally Pally.

So that's the current WDF ranked #4 and #15 off to the PDC Worlds.

The only 'invitation' will be to turn off the lights.

In brighter news, this bumps up Wolfie into the top 16. Unfortunately, they were using Wolfie's likely appearance in the first round as a selling point for the opening weekened.

Landman hasn't said which invite he'll accept has he?
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

If he didn't want to play at Ally Pally, presumably he wouldn't have bothered to enter the qualifier in the first place?
