How far can Luke Woodhouse go?

Post by thegentle » Mon Dec 16, 2019 1:13 am

One of those players who's been around the block for a while without really going much, has had a quietly impressive year, but has had some very impressive results. Tour card basically secure by now, with the pressure off a bit now, could he kick on and even emulate someone Aspinall or Humphries?

He's been steady so far in this tournament, but I don't think his potential is anywhere near Aspinall's or Humphries. Top 32 is probably his best bet, but he's still gotta improve his game to reach that.

Impressive results? He is like 50 on the pro tour rankings avgs the middle of the pack on the tour. Nothing Impressive there except one qrt final on the pro tour this year.

Pretty fucking low standard for impressive.

Maybe he is one who plays better on TV, beat Gurney and now fat Smith, looked good in the first round as well.

On the next step, he plays (Payne/Portela)/Dimitri. Winner plays Doggy Dawson.

Woodhouse must be relishing a go on that lot. Although Dumbo does love an Ally Pally special. It's an interesting bit.

How far can he go? Well suppose it depends on how much fuel he has in his motor and how many times he can afford to refill it.

Also in that section there are off-form(?) seeds like Adey, Webster and Gando, it's opened into something of a section of life for someone

Always seemed like a decent lad? Not heard much of his dart wise lately

He was struggling with some mental issues like his fellow Luke...

But yes, he does seem to be a decent lad..

You could probably give him some " coaching "

It would certainly help with his nutrition..

Thorns coaching would involve improving his stance

Duzza's mental coach would be good for him, who helped Duzza after his match against Hogan at Lakeshite.
