New Zealand vs South Afrika.....cricket, yawn.

The Saffa's have arrived on our soil.
Jesse Ryder is looking forward to this series of T20's, One Dayers, and 5 Day tests, having got in some good practice during the Zimbabwe tour.

Yeah nah, New Zealand has beaten South Afrika with four balls to spare in the first Twenty 20 match of the Proteas tour.

Chasing 36 cans to beat his first Zimbabwe effort, Jesse Ryder was always in control of the can chase thanks largely to the gut on the man.

The opening batsman kept his superb run of form going with a match-winning knock of 78no from just 55 balls.

Kane Williamson supported him well through the middle of the innings until the young Northern Districts star run himself out with a terrible call, he was later seen in the sheds with Jesse, this could lead to no good for the young fella.

Earlier the Black Caps' bowlers did a good job in restricting Jesse to only half the space in the team fridge, Jesse put the decision up stairs for referral but the decision was not over-turned.

The Proteas, who were sent in to bat, managed just 15 boundaries - and none in one 10-over period - in their total of 147-6. Pretty stink effort really.

The second Twenty 20 match is in Hamilton on Sunday night, where Jesse should by now be showing some form.

Silly game.
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'

yeah nah, a thunderous onslaught by Jessie Ryder ensured a T20 series decider against New Zealand at Eden Park on Wednesday night.

Jesse, all bristling pugnacity in this second international, crushed 117 cans in his bare hands to carry eight empty trays from Seddon Park last night.

It was the third century in T20 internationals - he joins Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum in that club - and his 45 cans to reach the 100 is the quickest of the three. His 13 six packs are a world record in the shortest form, eclipsing Gayle's 10 against South Africa at Johannesburg five years ago.

Chasing a competitive if far from imposing 173 for four, South Afrika got home before Jesse needed to go down th road to buy some more beers.

Jesse has been barred from drinking on game day so had zero beers yesterday, he then decided to match the total on the score board to show consistency.

Jesse and Doug Bracewell went down the boozer after the game on Wednesday night. After drinking the bar dry the boyz went home after abusing a few locals with some choice words. Examples were -
Jesse : How'ed ya like me check if stick me bat fits your arsehole mate ?
Dougy : Bend over and I'll see how far up your arse I can throw a cricket ball.
Jesse : Smile fucker and I'll see how many teeth I can remove in one hit.

Jesse & Dougy have been dropped from Saturdays one day game......... big funking deal, it's gonna be rained off anyway !

Jesse downed a number of tinnies on the first day of the first test. The scoreboard has no score against his name as the officials lost count. The matter has been referred to the 3rd umpire.

On the second day with the news he would not be required for the remainder of the season, Jesse got stuck into a few, the score board couldn't keep up. At the end on the day the scorers just said Jesse had dispatched cans in all parts of the ground and they believed a score of a ton or more was without doubt and his declaration would earn him the innings lead.
Jesse was heard to say "Yeah nah, fuck you lot I'll play for Wellington".
