Re: World Matchplay Averages
If asked i'd have guessed this years was the lowest standard for a few years. Likely mistaking lack of dramatic/close games as a drop in standard.

Re: World Matchplay Averages
I mean Wright put up some pretty historic numbers, Van den Bergh was also very good and people like Ratajski put in some good averages, but with just one game out of 31 going to a tie-breaker, it was a pretty naff tournamentSuperSwede wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 4:08 pm If asked i'd have guessed this years was the lowest standard for a few years. True. The likes of Chizzy, Humphries, Smith, Clayton and Price all knocked out with high averages, just not many nail biters.thegentle wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 4:50 pmI mean Wright put up some pretty historic numbers, Van den Bergh was also very good and people like Ratajski put in some good averages, but with just one game out of 31 going to a tie-breaker, it was a pretty naff tournamentSuperSwede wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 4:08 pm If asked i'd have guessed this years was the lowest standard for a few years. Fucking hell that is unbelievable. As a not a philth fan I will say if some one tells me he isn't the goat I'm seriously considering slapping them. Will think twice if they say Bristow but might just slap them for a laff.
