It is ok to dislike a team, but the violence over it is insane,Wolflanternbumbag wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:49 pmAbsolute madness!! I don’t get it when people say they hate certain teamstungsten tossers wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:45 pm A guy I used to work with, his younger brother was killed in a fight after a football game...
He was stabbed 5 or 6 times and they kicked him in the head until he was unrecognisable ..
He was 18.... it tore his family to pieces... over a game of football between 2 "rivals"......
The guy who was killed was a Fulham supporter, killed by a group of Chelsea supporters,
which 2 of them were his mates at school............

Exactly, that is part of the fun...Jimmi wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:49 pmThat’s as far as it goes with my mates too.tungsten tossers wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:40 pmMy best mate supports Liverpool, another supports QPR, another Arsenal, two brothers support Chelsea...Jimmi wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:29 pmI’ve seen documentaries in the past.tungsten tossers wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:26 pmIt was all very mindless and brainless back then...Jimmi wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:17 pm
I was about to say that I know the rivalry between United and Leeds was a lot more heated back then.
My Dad said it was bad, as do some of the United hardcore that I know.
I’ll have to ask my Dad if he went to Elland Road.
I’m pretty sure that he did.
He may have told me a story of how the police would block certain roads off with buses and or coaches and supporters on both sides would crawl underneath the vehicles to get to the one another.
but then all football violence is....
Utter lunancy.
Two of my best mates support Liverpool (the cunts) but that doesn’t mean I want to kick their heads in.
We have banter about football, and that is it....
Sure, we disagree on things but who doesn’t disagree on things in football?
