Re: GSoD: Historical PDC-BDO Head-to-Head
It was only after those 3 defeats, including an embarrassment against Aspinall where his average was pitiful, that he finally put a practice board up at home.

Re: GSoD: Historical PDC-BDO Head-to-Head
Absolutely mental to think that this tournament to the current day resembled its origins back in ancient history, having effectively come from the IDL and all that when Hearn withdrew the troops and Ad Schoofs ended up in a soup kitchen. What happens to it now...

The first slam was on the heels of the wdt final where gando beat Taylor
They played in the semi finals in wolves where gando had his chances

Re: GSoD: Historical PDC-BDO Head-to-Head
Forum broken etc. so that's completely unreadable but it's all there. Veenstra's one appearance at the GSoD was in 2019. Parlettit won a game that year. Veins did not.Rogg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 2:56 pm 2019 BDO representatives Glen Durrant (Lakeside - *Tour Card Holder*) Mikuru Suzuki Jim Williams Wesley Harms Lisa Ashton Richard Veenstra Dave Parletti Wayne Warren Michael van Gerwen 5-2 Jim Williams Jim Williams 5-1 Ross Smith Adrian Lewis 5-3 Jim Williams James Wade 5-2 Wesley Harms Steve Lennon 5-4 Wesley Harms Ian White 5-4 Wesley Harms Gerwyn Price 5-3 Mikuru Suzuki Dimitri van den Bergh 5-1 Mikuru Suzuki Robert Thornton 5-3 Mikuru Suzuki Gary Anderson 5-1 Dave Parletti Darren Webster 5-2 Dave Parletti Dave Parletti 5-2 Willie O Connor Rob Cross 5-2 Lisa Ashton Jamie Hughes 5-1 Lisa Ashton Dave Chisnall 5-1 Lisa Ashton Peter Wright 5-2 Wayne Warren Danny Noppert 5-1 Wayne Warren Ryan Harrington 5-1 Wayne Warren Daryl Gurney 5-0 Richard Veenstra Brendan Dolan 5-1 Richard Veenstra Gabriel Clemens 5-2 Richard Veenstra Michael Smith 5-3 Glen Durrant Glen Durrant 5-4 Martin Schindler Glen Durrant 5-0 Nathan Aspinall Glen Durrant 10-9 Gabriel Clemens Glen Durrant 16-12 Michael Smith Peter Wright 16-11 Glen Durrant Group stage: PDC 20-4 BDO Last 16: PDC 0-1 BDO QF: PDC 0-1 BDO SF: PDC 1-0 BDO Total: PDC 21-6 BDO

Turns out the PDC boys really couldn't handle the pressure of the Lakeside stage after all...

2022 should be the amateur game's best result for many a year.

We will pick our own team BDO from the participants
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.
