First tournament in 2 months

Post by Grazer » Fri Jan 06, 2012 1:33 pm

At the Harlow Open tomorrow where Mark Walsh, Peter Wright (among others) are rumored to be there. I am very much looking forward to this, it's my first tournament since my some what embarrassing peformance at the Grand Slam qualifiers and since my illness.

I've been working on some things but mostly just taking my time and having fun. Will keep updates on here for anyone :)

Got a bye in the first round, won 3-0 second round, lost 3-0 third round and finished up in A & E with chest pains. Pretty much sums up my day (played ok though)

Yeah I am thanks mate. All my tests came back clear (as there was also a small matter of passing out and making no sense that the ambulance crew thought I was stoned)

Good stuff.

How did you play in your two games? Solid enough?

Yeah pretty happy overall. Went off like a train first leg but struggled on my doubles. Second leg I couldn't score but finished ok. Third leg I scored and finished well. 2nd game I was unwell from about half way through the 2nd leg so I've written that off (plus don't remember much about it)

When your as thin as a racing snake and weigh about 4 stone it's no suprise you get chest pains.
Your arms are like cheesy strings, start eating lard.
