I saw Hopp saying he will play this tour if he doesn't win a card. After all this is how you get into the Europe Super League now.
One type of player it should certainly be scooping up is the best non-card holders from the region. Which in the case of Germany, Austria and Switzerland would mean many fine players.ChrisW wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:49 amCan imagine this is going to be pretty well subscribed.Rogg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:28 am This begins on Feb 10th. why not just call it that. Just confusing
Since the Europe Super League is open to all non-tour card holders from those countries, I take it they won't be able to take part in any other European qualifiers for the Worlds? What about tour card holders from those countries? Hempel obviously has to rely on the ProTour and PDPA, but if a German, Austrian or Swiss player wins a card, are they the same (even though new tour card holders from other countries would still be allowed to play regional tours/qualifiers)?Rogg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:28 am This begins on Feb 10th. I seem to remember there was a Luxembourger who hit a 9 darter in a European Tour qualifier once, and also one who reached a Development Tour semi a few years ago where they lost to Fabian Schmutzler, that's all I know about Luxembourg dartsRogg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:57 amOne type of player it should certainly be scooping up is the best non-card holders from the region. I'm not so well up on Liechtenstein and Luxembourg however.
I think there is a player named Jim Mayer from Luxembourgthegentle wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 11:29 amI seem to remember there was a Luxembourger who hit a 9 darter in a European Tour qualifier once, and also one who reached a Development Tour semi a few years ago where they lost to Fabian Schmutzler, that's all I know about Luxembourg dartsRogg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:57 amOne type of player it should certainly be scooping up is the best non-card holders from the region. Fair, a good thing for talented semi-pros!
