So which is the better night out? London or Doncaster?
Tough one.
Incidentally would you be able to let me know where it thinks I am now and where I was when I posted around 2pm today please? Let’s see how far off we are this time.

It probably is today.
‘For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and everyone who humbles himself will be exalted’
Into the mind of a county darts player over the road. Takes all sorts.
As someone who plays county darts, whilst it may need some freshening up in some people’s eyes I’m not sure what regionalising or reducing it to just one day would actually achieve. As others have said - the venues rely on two days of takings ergo so do the counties. Also regionalising it in the lower divisions whilst initially may help individuals playing it financially, I think when you are playing the same local counties time and again that will eventually lead to it going stale down the line.
Trust me, getting home at 11pm on a Sunday ahead of work on Monday morning is a ball ache but I would rather be playing teams in my division on merit and ability than county x because they’re only an hour drive away.
