Re: Boxing
BT have been back for a few weeks now, first show on Sky since the lockdown from Matchroom HQ/Eddie Hearn's back garden, and it was a pretty good one. Ted Cheeseman edged past Sam Eggington, not one for the purists, but an exciting fight nonetheless. Sadly my local boy Reece Bellotti lost again, but big-punching James Tennyson, always a good watch, won his fight quite well

Re: Boxing
Dillian Whyte defends his interim title against Povetkin tomorrow. A win for him would probably mean a fight for the undisputed title against the winner of Fury/Wilder 3.

Re: Boxing
Forgive me
What is an interim title?
Joshua holds most of the belts so what would be undisputed?

Re: Boxing
This a b c d world where everyone has belts is confusing.
I've just checked and apparently I'm ranked 12th in the ibc for heavyweights

Re: Boxing
Interim title fights are made when the current champion can't defend it due to injuries or whatever. Fury has the WBC title, but White also has it so they would need to fight in order to unify and the winner would be the undisputed WBC champ.
As for Joshua, he does have most of the belts and I don't think there's any interim champ in those other organisations.
Anyway, it's a bit of a mindfuck with those championships too, I think a council has 3 different champs for a single division (interim, normal and super).

Re: Boxing
I thought Whyte did alright in the rounds 2,3 and 4. Obviously it won't matter that much now. Apparently he's got a rematch clause so they could fight again some time in the future, although I'd rather watch some new matchups.

Re: Boxing
I've seen lamp posts move quicker than these 2.
Clearly I didn't take the upper cut but it seemed to crash through his guard first.
Didnt appear that devastating.
