Oh it'll be hype o'clock if it's Duzza vs MvG in the last 32, so many different angles there. Would like that tbf, he'd be a genuine threat that early in MvG's campaignRogg wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 3:33 pm Thanks Burton. Duzza sneaking into contention to be seeded. Could be loltimes if he's #32 at the Worlds...

Here is the provisional field for the World Championship. Due to a dominant weekend by the seeded players, very little movement on the ProTour qualification list.

Anyway, squeaky bum time for Edhouse, right on the cusp there and down at 7th on the CT he's not guaranteed to play on the main tour for much longer

Cristo Reyes and Ritchie Edhouse level for the last two provisional ProTour spots in the World Championships, with Matthew Edgar and Ryan Meikle not far behind. Runs for James Richardson & Jelle Klaasen today move them closer to safety. James Wade nearly up to Daryl Gurney at #6.

Should be Young and Campbell from North America, you know what you're gonna get with Young, but I'm interested to see Campbell, good to see an international player below the age of 30. The Japanese qualifier is actually on Monday, though that'll be Sunday for you lol, early hours of Monday morning for us

Starting to motor now, two qualifiers next weekend from India (dunno much about there but I'd expect Nitin Kumar to win that) and the Eastern European one from Hungary (tentatively back Sedláček, but very competitive that). Penultimate Aussie tour weekend as well, Heta well ahead there

It's Kouta Suzuki or Yuki Yamada for the Worlds, leaning towards Asada winning for Yamada

After a poor start, Asada pulls it all together to win this tournament for a third year running. Congratulations to Yuki Yamada, commiserations to Kouta Suzuki

Steyer and Bezzeg to miss the qualifier, the mongs. Kanik too, possibly because of his tour card.

Tough choice for Kanik, he's outside the Ally Pally spots at the moment. Only £2,500 behind the last spot though. I still reckon he should've given the qualifier a go and he could have played in Barnsley on the Sunday.
Adam Gawlas is also not there.

And the top favourite Sedlacek is out in round 1, beaten 6-4 by Roman Benecky.

God bless the PDC Hungarian Fan Club! Lots of big names missing, disappointing that, and disappointing that Sedláček is missing out. All set up for a Kciuk or Szekely type to win through

Re: 2020 Greatest Show on Earth
Kciuk and Végső win, us Western Europeans would probably make Kciuk favourite, but maybe Dartjack and Griepel know something we don't
