ITV, Sky or BBC
After the feast of darts on our screens over the past few months, who's your favourite broadcaster ?
Sky do my head in with all their hype plus Harrington, Mardle and Clark rambling on.
The BBC are new to proper darts so I'll reserve judgement on them for now.
Therefore ITV get my vote , decent enough commentary, good presentation and not so much hype as their rivals on sky.
Saying that, darts on TV is never a bad thing.
Ok thanks............

SKY.
Mardle is an annoyance. But their production and coverage is second to none.

agreed take Mardle out of the equation far superior. I do like ITV coverage but Ned Boultings interviews are a bit patronisingsennafan24 wrote:SKY.

Sky solely because they're the only one not gullible enough to employ the absolutely hopeless John Rawling.
He can't even cover Lakeside properly ffs.

Maybe it's the fact sky have the week long events but I prefer the immersive experience.

Don't really care tbh
Sky is more professional, ITV doesn't have Mardle and Harrington. But I care very little about the presentation and stuff

Sky...
Much more professional....
They do go OTT on the drama but overall package is far superior...
And you can get all the games on catch up if you miss any

No mention of that free channel that fucked the bdo off for moto x or whatever it was?
Sound quality alone merits a mention surely?

Re: ITV, Sky or BBC
A mix of all to be honest.
Sky for overall production quality
ITV for not going over the top and no Mardle
BBC for no advert breaks

BBC for no advert breaks

Mace and Mardle are the marmite of commentators I guess, Rod Studd is top of my list but I like Warriner too, Harrington gets the boot along with Vassos from the beeb

Like Mace can't stand Mardle or Vassos. Rod 'don't miss the big numbaa Dave' can do one.Mabbsy wrote:Mace and Mardle are the marmite of commentators I guess, Rod Studd is top of my list but I like Warriner too, Harrington gets the boot along with Vassos from the beeb

Re: ITV, Sky or BBC
The really bare and unprofessional presentation, which does happen sometimes with the BDO, can take away from the experience. As long as it's relatively professional I don't really mindsennafan24 wrote:Thorn likes the spinning dartboard on FreeSports. The Thorn wrote:Don't really care tbh
