Nice stuff, McGeeney heading for Q-School then hopefully
Good old Cameron.
McGeeney is certainly gearing up for unofficial darts. Hopefully no twat will be giving him the 'Top 3 PDC easily' nonsense between now and then. Just leave him to be a darts player intit.
Like James Wilson (2015), he'll have just been top seed at Lakeside when making the move. If etc. etc. Wilson cheerily bombed to that frightful tramp Sajwani in Round 1 that January.

Dan Dawson @DanDartsDawson
Cameron was 3-1 up on Krzysztof, but then lost. But then everyone took the lead against Krzysztof today... and then lost. Cammy is another one of these mint players who don't even have tour cards (yet).
Cameron Menzies @CameronMenzies
6 darts to go up 4 1 then got whopped. Fair play class act
--------
Cameron Menzies @CameronMenzies
Replying to @lozbutty @DanDartsDawson
Maybe early.but I have learned more in last year than I have in 3 years before

I have got a lot of time for Cammie.. he is honest about himself and his game and other players.
Would be great to see him get a card and play the circuit next year

Agree mate, he's one of the real "New Era" looking to make a mark in the game. The future really is bright

Someone should explain to him that they were all too busy having a good time.
Publicised the flippin thing everywhere for months then when it's actually happening, next to nothing. A triumph.

The dearth of updates from the Turkish tournaments this weekend winds me up no end. It takes 10 minutes to stick the draws on the website and post the links through social media.

The difference between the codes is so evident this weekend...
PDC boys slogging it out in Barnsley for vital PC, GS and ally pally spots.. Ratty wins 20k and a tour card
Shrooms having a piss up in Turkey.. McGeeney wins about £1.50 and a kebab

Christopher Kempf
@ochepedia
11 players who contested the 2016 European Championship did not qualify to defend their ranking £££ at the 2018 event:
Gary Anderson
Jamie Caven
Chris Dobey
Kim Huybrechts
Terry Jenkins
Alan Norris
Benito van de Pas
Devon Petersen
Justin Pipe
James Richardson
Robert Thornton
Incredible to see just how many players have fallen away at a rate of knots, looking very likely that many of them won't be at Ally Pally even with the expansion

Kim and Dobey are shining lights out of that group, and they've both been average this year

I do wonder if Anderson might be regretting that he didn't at least do a handful of appearances on the European Tour just to get into the field, considering his TV form this year and that the event pays £100k to the winner these days.
Anyway, while his travel concerns are kind of understandable, I still find it pretty weird that he's basically the only top player who would rather spend weekends playing the floor in Barnsley and Wigan than doing the European Tour.

I don't think he'll regret it, at least I doubt he'll play any of the ET events next year. Other than winning an event, it's not that easy to get into the field. He could end up playing 3-4 events and still short of qualifying, which would mean he needs to do more, or all that travelling would be wasted basically.

He clearly doesn't like playing in the Euro events due to the ban he got in them a few years ago. This is probably his petty little protest.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

Anderson's really bad for petty complaining.
Surprised it isn't pointed out more often.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!
Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!
