Re: TV listings from the olden days
Saturday 13th May 1967.
The rugby league Challenge Cup final is the highlight of the entire week's viewing according to the Radio Times.
Some lovely Troughton era Doctor Who on at teatime. It's the final episode of 'The Faceless Ones'. It is missing from the archive.

The Radio Times this week in 2011.
There are Doctor Who episodes from this era that I've never seen because of absurdly complicated long plots and the companions having babies. I didn't know what was happening.

Saturday 5th June 1993.
Ashes cricket on the BBC. England will be fine. Plus tons of other high profile sport. Sky hasn't interfered much yet.
Jim'll Fix It on BBC1. National Lampoon's European Vacation later on.
9pm on BBC2 is the HIGNFY edition promising Roy Hattersley, delivering lard.
