You did. I accidentally watched both episodes. I don't know what to think about them yet.
The first one had talking babies, a monster made of bogeys and a spaceship powered by farts.

The humour was astoundingly infantile. Hard to imagine what general people would have made of it! If any are still watching in 2024.

We had a drag queen and some pronoun soup in the second one. Millie was adopted by black lesbians of course.
Overall I was entertained. RTD can write television, whether we personally like it or not. He's on a different level from Chinballs.

They all did a song and dance at the end of episode 2. The Doctor winked into the camera. It's very bold and very confident.

Gawd elp us. Only Jodie's Easter 2022 disaster episode had worse overnight ratings in the show's history.
Iplayer figures not included yet and they should be bigger than usual as the episodes debuted on iplayer at midnight.
Overnight Ratings on BBC1.
Doctor Who (ep1) - 2.6m
Doctor Who (ep2) - 2.4m
Eurovision got 7.6m.

Metro have deleted their twitter account.
Yesterday afternoon they put up an article called '"Sorry straight white men, Doctor Who was never made for you". It was everything you imagine it was.
I've no idea if these things are connected but it would be nice to think the sick fucks got chased out of town. Either way, fuck you Metro.

Randall is resting mate. So I suggest you either change the thread title, or delete and repost tomorrow.Rogg wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:29 pm Metro have deleted their twitter account.
