I would have thought Lauby would stay in the UK and play Q-School here given he is playing and entered in a load of ADC events.
You never know....You might see one or 2 of us from here there too Alex.

Barney to make it to at least the quarter final of a televised major and it being enough for him to carry on for another year.
A player currently in the top 32 o.o.m to announce retirement.
A new name winning one of the majors.
A player being assaulted or injured during a walk on in a PDC event.
Johnny Clayton or Peter Wright to miss out on the Premier League or refuse their invitation. (Yep)
Stephen Bunting to make it into a major final.
At least 6 new/first time tour card holders coming from Q-School.

Nobody in this thread has predicted he will win a major either.
Who would you prefer be hyped in this thread? Mitchell? Schlichting? Kovács?

Worlds predictions:thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 5:51 pm I am 8 hours ahead of most of you, 祝大家新年快乐!
Will do a proper tour card winner list when the entries are released, likewise when the tour cards have been allocated I'll do a full Worlds qualification list based on this year's criteria
MvG to be the big dog and win 3 Premier titles, Michael Smith and Rob Cross 2, Dobey (a ranking one for him this time), Cross, Humphries and Price to win the rest, with England winning the World Cup for the first time without Taylor
Littler, Rock, Dimi, Ross Smith and Scott Williams to reach a final of a Premier event, Littler to win a World Series title having missed out on Prem selection (he'll also win 2 ProTours and a Euro Tour)
I was going to suggest Littler gets into the top 32, but if he starts off on a hundred grand with nothing to defend, that's not much of a prediction! Top 16 for him (he may be there in 3 days!), same as Rock, Scott Williams to enter the top 24. They will be joined in the top 32 by Pietreczko (obviously), Joyce and Gian van Veen. Doets will end up not too far away, Hempel to rise up the ranks, Rowby-John and Soutar won't rise as they're defending a lot, but they will maintain their current spots in the rankings. Bunting to flatter to deceive again, being 'on form' for much of the year, but winning fuck all and being in about the same spot in the rankings. Noppert, Clayton, Dirk and Wade to fall fairly sharply in the rankings, Kuivenhoven, de Zwaan, Burton, Klose and Sedlacek to keep their cards, King, Gawlas, Vinny, Slevin and Edhouse to lose theirs, staying loyal to Mensur, he keeps his unless he stops turning up to events. Whitlock and White will be threatened, though they won't fall through the trap door quite yet
Not too goodTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 4:57 pm Q School:
Darryl Pilgrim, Dom Taylor, Hendo, Boulton, all win cards at Q School UK. In terms of players who lost it this year Scutt, Waites, Killington get straight back. The likes of Murnan , Evetts and James Wilson all fail to get one back
In EU Tricole will job out of getting a card again but Klaasen will get back on the tour this time. Kist will get through easily as well.
Think the mid carders will be relieved that Boulton, Scutt, Pilgrim and Kist didn't make it. They'll be among the favourites on the Challenge Tour, but as Boulton knows only too well, you have to be really consistent on that tour to be able to play the entire ProTourTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 11:36 amNot too goodTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 4:57 pm Q School:
