I know Cadby averaged higher in 2017 but he faced no opposition in our lad Sun Qiang.

(95.54) Cristo Reyes 3-2 Dimitri Van den Bergh (99.11) -- Both brilliant. Reyes 12/19 on doubles. Dimitri 9 180s and did little wrong.

(94.46) Darren Webster 3-2 Stephen Bunting (91.02) -- Bunter binned 7 match darts. Unreal Webster surge and won the tie-break.

Bunting and Van den Bergh would meet in the first round of the next year where Dimi averaged 104 in defeating Bunting's 98 average and a 170 finish.
