They committed to the pdc? I'm shocked if Jimbo already did.

PDC contract for tour card holders doesnt allow them to play in any other orgs or promoters televised event or streamed. My understanding is that players can make a request for an exemption.

By this logic, it's possible that Williams plays Grand Slam and then chooses Lakeside over Ally Pally, because he's not a fully fledged tour card holder until 2022. Then he joins PDC after that and gets banned from the WDF.

It is not logic but the rules of the contract. What or how Williams will reason to do I cant say. When he signs the contract and when he gets a tour card and when the contract becomes binding I dont know. But seems reasonable he would do it before PDC worlds.

I know in the past the WDF had bans but do they have them now? Thought they got rid of that. PDC is now the org that limits the players in where and how they can make their money and they have been doing it a long time. Remember the bust up over Benito and a couple other players as well as the Worthington cup thing a few years back.

I think tour card holders still can't enter the WDF events. Not sure though

Then don't post it before you've verified it.

Pretty sure it's any streamed events which don't come under the auspices of the PDC, unless they get an exemption like John Michael in the Romanian Open (which he probably entered before he won his card)

I think there might be a restriction from the WDF side too. But I don't know. Sorry Bob.
